The launch of the 11th edition of the scientific and technical days of Sonatrach was given Monday afternoon at the Oran Convention Center in the presence of the Minister of Energy, the Minister of the Environment and renewable energies and the CEO of SH.
A Malian delegation led by the Minister of Energy was also present as well as an Iraqi delegation.
More than 1500 participants took part in this opening ceremony including the CEOs of ENI (Italy), CEPSA (Spain) and TOTAL (France)
In his opening speech Energy Minister Mustapha Guitouni stressed the importance of partnership “we must reconsider our vision of partnership to make it an asset for developing our capabilities and diversifying our energy resources” he said in his opening remarks. The minister did not fail to recall that the energy transition is a crucial issue for our country.
“innovation is a key option to make Sonatrach a leader not only in the exploitation of fossil fuels but also in renewable energies”.
Sonatrach’s CEO emphasized the importance of innovation in the energy sector saying that “Sonatrach is today a stable group this allows us to put in place the necessary strategies for the future. improvement of the group’s operating results”
Before announcing that his company will present its balance sheet and strategic plan 2020, 2030 on April 30.
The Minister then proceeded to a visit of the booths of the companies that took part in the exhibition organized alongside the scientific and technical days of Sonatrach.
